we asked you to choose which months you would be able to participate in our event this year. here are the top 4:

• june – 21 votes
• july – 27 votes, our winner!
• august – 24 votes

the majority vote decides: hqpowrimo will be running from july 1-31, 2022!

we also requested you to select the prompt formats you’re most excited about, and invited you to send your own ideas!

• word bank (words you have to use) – 38 votes (most interest)
• recipe prompts (instructions to build a poem) – 32 votes
• poetic forms (haiku, sonnets, etc) – 21 votes
• composition challenges (e.g. no words over 6 letters) – 20 votes (least interest)
• hq-themed prompts – 33 votes

• interpretation of an image or item
• assign a word bank or prompts written by participants themselves through a generator
