the 2021 haikyuu poetry writing month was a great success — thanks to our wonderful participants. hqpowrimo was envisioned as an event to offer our wonderful community some new ways to create fan content, based on the general national poetry writing month.
this year, we’d like to make sure even more people feel able to participate. poetry is fun! it should be accessible, especially in fandom spaces, to anyone who’d like to enjoy putting words together.
we’re stealing a leaf from nekomata-sensei this year and lowering the net. we’ll still use napowrimo prompts here and there, but we’d like to add prompts that are not just hq-specific but helpful for people who are new to, or just want to rediscover the joy of, writing poetry.
